Challenge #15, and Challenge #10: Where is he? Crossover with Discworld.
A/N: One of those happy drabbles that comes out 100 words first time. =)

He landed hard on tight-packed sand. The sky overhead was endless, far bigger than it had ever seemed before, and dusted lightly with twinkling stars.

He got to his feet and turned around quickly, wanting to leap back into the fray, but the archway with its ragged veil was gone. There was only the endless susurration of the wind over the dunes.

"Oh."

YES, I'M AFRAID SO.

He looked up at the seven foot tall skeleton.

"So what happens now?"

THAT'S UP TO YOU.

"Then I'll wait."

YOU HAVE SOMEONE TO WAIT FOR?

"Remus."

He smiled, evilly.

"And Peter."

Challenge #16: Stop the Presses! (Article for the Quibbler)

Everyone knows that a Giant Squid resides in a lake in the grounds of Hogwarts. The official history of the school would have us believe it has been so for centuries.

BUT HAS IT?

According to sources, Professor Dippet, ex-headmaster of Hogwarts, had far more than a merely professional relationship with the Giant Squid. He would take it gifts and tickle it for hours. And that's not all.

The Quibbler believes that the original Squid died years ago; that it is the product of this sordid affair now lurking in the lake, a hideous conglomeration of man and beast! Allegedly.

the first one was simultaneously sweet (made my puppy-shipping heart float) and really disturbing (we like that insane hatred doesn't have to end with death). kudos!

and the second one was adorable. I may be sick for thinking of it that way, but it was just really cute!

Love and much needed therapy,
Jo
