Friday afternoon. Potions. Seventh-year Gryffindors and Slytherins. Longbottom's cauldron. Yadda, yadda, yadda, an explosion. Only Potter is hit. Thank Merlin.

"I need to administer the antidote," says Snape.

Granger narrows her eyes when she notices that Snape is heading towards his private quarters.

"But, Professor Snape! Don't you think you should take him to Madam Pomfrey?"

Snape just sneers.

"Insolent girl! There's only one way to disenchant a 'prince' who's been transformed into a frog. Every first year knows that, Miss Granger! Ten points from Gryffindor."

Pocketing Potter, Snape sweeps from the room with an elegant swish of his robes.

Ha! Does the frog have a scar, too? Snape's definitely more queen than princess, though. :D

I was actually thinking more along the lines of "one true love," but the "queen" interpretation is much, much better. ;-)
